O processo de ensino-aprendizagem das relações métricas no triângulo retângulo através da resolução de problemas e mediado pela plataforma GeoGebra

Resumo

The general objective of this dissertation is to verify the contributions of the GeoGebra Platform, combined with the Problem Solving methodology, in the teaching-learning process of Metric Relations in the Right Triangle. The motivation for the research arose from the need to explore an innovative pedagogical proposal for the teaching of this content, integrating digital technologies and teaching strategies that promote the meaningful understanding of mathematical concepts. The theoretical framework is anchored in the field of Problem Solving, with emphasis on the use of Digital Technologies, especially the GeoGebra Platform, as a teaching support resource. The research, of a qualitative nature, was guided by the methodological perspective of Bogdan and Biklen, among others, and developed with ten students of the ninth grade of Elementary School at the João Ferreira de Souza State School, located in Santa Cruz/RN. The methodology adopted consisted of the implementation of a set of activities totaling twenty class hours, distributed in meetings of four hours each, in which activities were proposed that integrated Problem Solving and the use of the GeoGebra Platform. Considering the analysis of the collected data, we developed an instrument to categorize the students' responses. The results indicate that the use of this platform through the Problem Solving methodology aroused interest and enthusiasm in the students, although the first contact with the tool generated doubts about its use and applicability. The interaction between the students' previous knowledge and the interactive functionalities of the GeoGebra Platform provided engaging learning moments, facilitating the practical application and consolidation of the content of the Metric Relations in the Right Triangle. It is concluded that the integration of these strategies reinforces the importance of Problem Solving in the teaching and learning process, highlighting the potential of digital technologies for the teaching of mathematics.
