Criação de plataformas virtuais e aplicativos para smartphones na educação financeira no ensino médio

Resumo

This research, submitted to the Postgraduate Program in Management and Educational Practices (Progepe) of Universidade Nove de Julho (Uninove), by the Line of Research and Intervention Methodology of Learning and Teaching Practices (Limape), aims to present a didactic proposal to serve as a reference source for the use of new technologies in the teaching of Financial Education in high school. It is known that the young person's difficulty in dealing with financial issues permeates the family and educational scenario in the teaching-learning context, often due to semiotic difficulties related to mathematical language. With the implementation of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), the stages of basic education now have to offer Financial Education in different areas of knowledge, preferably in an interdisciplinary way and with the use of new technologies. Our concern about the subject arose from the following question: how can the use of virtual platforms and applications for smartphones serve as an auxiliary instrument in Financial Education in high school? We start from the hypothesis that dealing with the creation of platforms and applications can generate an educational environment favorable to "do-learning" on Financial Education in the family and school context, in addition to updating the school context in relation to the necessary use of new technologies by teachers and teachers. contemporary students. The general objective was to better understand the use of new technologies as an instrument for Financial Education in high school, based on three specific objectives, namely: 1) develop, together with the selected students, for the research, a virtual platform and an application for Android and iOS; 2) use the virtual platform and the application as didactic instruments and to support teaching practice; 3) investigate the implications and contributions of using information technologies in Financial Education in high school. The methodology used was predominantly qualitative and had as its universe the ETEC Bartolomeu Bueno da Silva Anhanguera, located in Santana de Parnaíba, in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The school is linked to the State Center for Technological Education Paula Souza, an autarchy of the Government of the State of São Paulo, and has modular technical courses (semestral) and technical courses integrated with high school (annual). The subjects were 40 students from a 3rd year class of computer technician for internet integrated into high school. The work is mainly based on: Ubiratan D'Ambrosio (transdisciplinarity and Mathematics Education), Charles S. Peirce, Silvia Dias Alcântara Machado and Raymond Duval (interface between Mathematics, Semiotics and BNCC), which support Financial Education and the use of of new technologies in basic education. The final product was the production of virtual platforms, created by the students, for the development of family budgets and investment research.
