Resumo
The present research consisted of relating the teaching of geometric transformations through a learning trail, built through collaborative work between mathematics teachers at a state school in the municipality of Quipapá-PE. An innovative approach to teaching geometric transformations, using a learning path based on collaborative work between school mathematics teachers in the research field. In this context, the learning path was designed to involve students in practical and interactive activities, which encourage critical thinking and problem solving. Furthermore, collaborative work between teachers played a fundamental role in this process, encouraging the exchange of ideas, debate and the collective construction of knowledge. Teaching geometric transformations is a crucial topic in mathematics teaching, as it helps students develop spatial and visual skills, in addition to promoting logical reasoning and understanding fundamental concepts. During the construction of the learning trail activities, teachers were able to explore these geometric transformations through everyday examples, interactive games, computer simulations and other practical activities. Furthermore, teachers were encouraged to create problems relatedto geometric transformations, in order to consolidate their understanding of the concepts. This type of practical and contextualized approach helped students understand the relevance and applicability of geometric transformations in their daily lives. As a result of this innovative educational process, students not only gained a solid understanding of geometric transformations, but also developed teamwork, communication and creative thinking skills. Furthermore, the learning trail and collaborative work developed for a dynamic and stimulating learning environment at the state school in Quipapá-PE, demonstrates the positive impact of innovative and collaborative pedagogical approaches in the teaching and learning process.
